2005-04-08 - 2:32 p.m. So, the Display Driver is Gone I've discovered I can still connect to the internet, even though I haven't been able to get a download of the Toshiba display driver, and haven't located the recovery disk, as of yet, in my apartment. It's amazing how much we rely on our computers! I've had off work these last two days, the first two days I've taken off this year. What did I do? I planted roses - isn't that romantic? I bought three rosebushes for $12 at the local Shoprite supermarket in the small town where I work. One is a pale pink climbing rose with dark, glossy leaves: I planted that in the back of the garden, and I'll have to put up a trellis, as my sister advised, once it starts to grow. The other are a pure white rose, and an old-fashioned very fragrant violet rose. This is the thing...the entire garden is sparkling with multicolored foil confetti...I've sprinkled everything in my garden with irridescent glitter...perhaps people in the apartments above will wonder...but I alone have access to the yard, and ahhh! Artistic license! I will continue to write, now I know I can -
