2005-09-22 - 9:43 p.m. Old Dog Teaches Himself New Tricks I always eat dinner five rooms away from the kitchen, in front of the TV. When I come home from work, RexDog gets his giant wooden bowl filled in the kitchen; I bring my dinner into the living room. Gradually in the last two weeks RexDog has begun something new: he grips the heavy bowl in his teeth and trots into the living room, gently placing it on the floor alongside the couch, and casually chomps on his dinner as we both sit in front of the TV. This is freaking me out a bit. Are we becoming too much alike? I hope I don't start curling up in a ball, sleeping at the foot of the bed.
