2005-12-08 - 7:27 p.m. Oooh, that smell! That mysterious smell is back...if you're a New Yorker, you know about The Smell. Two months ago it descended upon the city, a sweet maple-syrup odor that lingered for a couple of days. The department of homeland security took air samples, and found no foul-play. Now, it's baaack! It is saturating the air tonight. It is pleasant, but still questionable.
