2007-10-20 - 6:47 a.m. Rope One of my favorite movies is on right now on AMC. Gretta Dog stomped all over me and licked my face to wake me up and, I guess, turn on this movie. Sorry, I haven't been posting for a while. I've been going through a depressive episode...these things happen...but I think it's coming through and I'm OK now. Everyone, very concerned at work, asks, "Are you still taking your medications?" I feel like yelling back, "No, you idiots! Why wouldn't I still be taking my medications?" But meds just do so much, to keep you from going over the edge. Today I'll focus on the text, "The Descent of Woman", an anthropolgy vintage book from the local thrift store. Also I am re-reading "Normal Girl" by Molly Jong-Fast. Books are piled up around me; I need to read at least four books at a time every week. I am also reading over the personal correspondence of the oriental woman who was involved with the young guy who lived upstairs who I guess never came back from the war...I should record her words in some way, to keep her life imprinted in history.
